We are happy to announce the call for abstracts for the 18th INAS conference, to be held July 1–3, 2026 at the University of Oxford, UK.

Reflecting the breadth of analytical sociology, we welcome submissions for presentations on any sociological topic using any method (e.g., qualitative, quantitative, experimental, simulation-based, historical). We especially encourage applications that examine social mechanisms and the macro-level phenomena they give rise to.

Please submit your abstract (max. 350 words) using this form. Note that only one submission is allowed per presenting author. The deadline for submission is February 1, 2026 (11:59pm GMT). For more information, please visit the conference website.

The organizers of the 18th INAS conference are Ozan Aksoy, Anica Waldendorf, David Kretschmer, and Kasimir Dederichs with support from the Nuffield College and the Department of Sociology, University of Oxford.
