The Call for Abstracts for the 17th INAS conference is now open.
We are happy to announce the call for abstracts for the 17th INAS conference, to be held June 5–7, 2025 at Columbia University, New York City.
Research in the analytical sociology tradition uses different modes of inquiry to identify the micro-level mechanisms that underlie macro-level phenomena. We welcome submissions using any method (e.g., quantitative, qualitative, experimental, simulation-based) that allows for the study of social mechanisms and the social dynamics they give rise to. We especially encourage applications that examine, with exciting new methods and data, how social phenomena emerge from large groups of interacting individuals.
Please submit an abstract (up to 200 words) via this form. The deadline for submission is February 17, 2025 (11:59pm EST). For more information, please visit the conference website.
The organizers of the 17th INAS conference are James Chu and Gerard Torrats-Espinosa with support from the Interdisciplinary Center for Innovative Theory and Empirics (INCITE) and the Columbia University Sociology Department.
